greetings from Vienna
Hello everyone,
I'm Vladimir, I am originally from a little place called Mokrin (Serbia) near borders with Hungary and Romania. I live in Vienna since 2011 where I work as a software developer.
I'm 30 now and my first lego I got when I was 5 (about the time pyramids in Egypt were finished ) and it was the fire house.
Now I'm buying sets from before year 2000, and trying hard not to buy any newer ones and failing What can I do when I really like LOTR I like classic trains and classic town sets the most I would say. Here is my brickset collection.
I heard about rolug on serbian lug's forum (beokocka), and Bricky told me I can register here and write about the PaB at the lego store Donauzentrum, which is conveniently located 4 subway stops from my apartment
Hope to have fun here, and maybe even learn some Romanian

Howdy Vladimir, welcome to ROLUG, one of the friendliest community in existence
I want to thank you for your kind gesture to help us acquire sets that are normally not available to us.

Re: greetings from Vienna
Hello and welcome !
There might be a small chance that I will go to Vienna (I was like 2 or 3 times) and unfortunately I didn't know any LEGO fans there... But luckily I was able to find the sets that I wanted on my own.
My school organizes some trips to Vienna, especially before Xmas.
Btw I live in Budapest at the moment.

Re: greetings from Vienna
Welcome Vladimir!
We're not the biggest Lego community but I bet we are the friendliest.
And we have some great world-class MOCers also. You may admire their work in the appropriate forum section.
See you around!

Re: greetings from Vienna
Thank you! No MOC's, I'm more of a collector Unfortunately lately I don't have much time for lego
Yes, like every software developer I'm coding (java currently) I'm now a freelancer but working full time for AIT's safety and security department. It's ok - for now
