Rolug Summer Contest

Rolug community is organizing a contest which is open to all forum members. Here are the coordinates:

THEME
Cartoon characters and scenes

Using as many original Lego pieces you want, on a baseplate of maximum 48x48 studs, build a creation which you haven't published anywhere before. The creation must not contain or suggest acts of violence, immoral attitudes or to violate the limits of common sense. You can build a large cartoon character or a cartoon diorama which contains characters.

DURATION
You can register your works until July 15th 2014. On July 17th we will announce the winners according to the jury's votes and Facebook likes.

PARTICIPATION
The contest is open only to Rolug forum members. If you are not a member yet, you will need to sign up for an account here. You can register multiple works, but they must be individual, not collective works. There is no age limit, neither inferior, nor superior. We will not accept works which were published before, neither processed photos.

To register your creation, you must send us 4 pictures of the creation and one with you and your creation on our e-mail address clubrolug@gmail.com. Also, tell us the title of your creation. Please send the e-mail with your work from the same e-mail address you used when you registered your forum account. Along with the pictures, please tell us your full name, forum id, where you are from (city and country) and your age. The winners will need to provide their full address and a phone number to send them the prize.

After your creation is published, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the id contest creation. In case we consider not all the rules are respected, we reserve ourselves the right not to publish the creation and we will inform you about this.
Personal data will not be published, neither the picture of you and the creation. We will only publish the winners photos along with the prize, if we have their approval.
In case of minor participants, they need parental approval.

JURY
The jury will be composed of 3 Rolug members which don't have the right to participate in the contest. They will note the creations with grades between 1 and 20, taking into consideration the building techniques, originality and complexity of the creations. Along with jury's grades, there will be a classification considering public preferences. All the works will be published on Rolug Facebook page, where anybody can like one or more creations. Considering the likes number, the creations will receive a grade which will be added to the jury's ones and in this way we will determine the winners.

The final results will be published on the contest page. In case of equal score, the creation which was sent sooner will have priority. Each creation will have its own post on the Rolug site and you can share any work on your Facebook page to gather more likes.

The winner will be able to chose the set he/she wants and then the one on 2nd place will chose one of the remaining 2 sets.

A contestant can win only one prize. If a contestant ranks in top 3 with more than one creation, he/she will have the possibility of choosing one single prize and the rest of them will be given to the following creations, considering score order.

After receiving the prizes, the winners are invited to send us a photo of them and the prize and the pictures will be published on Rolug site and Facebook page.

You can vote your favorite creation only today, until 23:59, Romanian time (GMT+2). Tomorrow we will announce the winners, considering jury's votes and facebook likes.
